NEWARK NAZ WOVEN WEEKEND: OUTSTRETCHED ARMS

I am excited to see what God has in store for our Newark sisters and their invited guests this Friday and Saturday at the beautiful Cherry Valley Lodge.  We have been praying for God to display His power and love amongst us. And, in fact, He already has!

Last Monday evening, seven ladies came together for our Woven Hour of Prayer. Jill was suffering with laryngitis for two weeks. For five days, she had been unable to talk and the last two days of that she could barely whisper. In fact, when we were sharing requests, she had to speak directly into the ear of the person closest to her, in order for that person to then share her request with the rest of our group. Jill said she had been praying persistently in that hour, asking God to heal her voice. After closing our prayer time, when we stood & began to chat with one another (as we gals love to do!), the thought came to her that she should try out her voice. When she opened her mouth, her voice came forth with a force greater than her own. Her voice was back to normal!

What a praise! God not only healed Jill's voice; He healed it in our very midst so that we could rejoice together! More than that, I truly believe this was His way of saying, "If I healed her voice in less than one hour when 7 of you came together in my presence, just imagine what I will do in the midst of 70 women coming together for 24 hours!"

Does that excite you? It certainly excites me! I know that God has an amazing plan for every one of us this weekend. I have truly felt this as I prepare for each session. Among all the years of preaching, speaking, preparing, I have to say that preparing for this retreat has been a unique experience.
God loves YOU! He has an incredible plan for your life. More than that, He has something very special in mind for us collectively as His daughters.

For those readers who are not attending, we delight in your prayers for us.
To the women who have committed to attend this weekend:
Thank you for taking the time to come, to "Taste and see that the Lord is good."~Psalm 34:8
Come expectant, with Outstretched Arms, prepared for a Wonderful Woven Weekend!
